Susan makes the wrong impression on a female colleague, Gabi wants Carlos to hire Lynnette, Bree is upset by Orson’s secret habit, and Edie digs deeper into Dave’s past.
I will be watching Kings tonight–two hours long, so must tape this or miss it and rely on the rest of you for the details.
I only saw bits and pieces, but the kissing seemed to be pretty chaste in the way it was shown, from what I gathered.
Can anyone fill me in on the rest?
I just saw it tonight.
The kiss was pretty chaste, but it clearly lingered. There was no mistaking it for simply friendly.
You had to feel bad for Jessie, Susan was definitely sending all the signals of being interested. Of course, we Wisteria watchers know how socially clumsy and clueless Susan is, so we all know she didn’t mean anything by it.
These days, I’m finding Orson more creepy than Dave. Dave is looking more and more pitiful, and I’m half convinced he’ll kill himself rather than go through with killing Mike and/or Katherine. Orson’s passive-aggressive resistance to Bree’s dominance is disturbing. Earlier, he seemed to have accepted his role in their relationship, now it’s clear he doesn’t.
Gabby’s inability to contain her glee during the funeral was great.
The Lynette sub-plot was just sort of there like they were contractually obligated something to do with her.
Just got caught up.
I kinda liked this episode. I totally knew Jessie was lesbian the second Susan said “wow, va-va-voom!” Oh, Susan. You are so clueless.
I don’t think Dave wants to kill Mike. He wants him to suffer like he did. I wonder if Edie will get the fax in time, or Dave will change his mind or what.
I love the people on this show. They go from not working for years to landing six figure jobs. Must be nice.
I like Orson. He always has been a bit creepy though. They’ve made it really clear Bree is a control freak, and this is one thing she can’t control. She can’t stop him, and she can’t allow anyone to find out because it would embarrass her. Remember, Orson was fully prepared to go apologize to everyone. He’s not nuts.
Of course he doesn’t want to kill Mike. He wants to kill Katherine. That’s why he keeps insisting she come camping.
Orson makes more sense if you look at him as a submissive. He enjoys being dominated by Bree and he needed to provoke her in order to get the reaction and punishment he craves. I believe Bree’s first husband Rex was also into S&M.
Obviously, but that doesn’t mean he won’t kill Mike afterward, after showing him “how it feels to lose someone”. What’s he gonna do on a three-person camping trip? Make it somehow look like an accident? Leave a witness, or at least someone with strong suspicions and violence in his past, around to pursue the point? I suppose Dave could be planning to commit suicide or could be hoping for Mike to kill him in order to be reunited with his first wife and daughter. But if he doesn’t have a death wish, he’s got to be planning to kill Mike as well.
Dave doesn’t want Mike to die; he wants him to have to live with the suffering of having lost his loved one(s). Dave DOES want to die to relieve his own suffering. He’s virtually dead inside already. He doesn’t care if Mike or the world knows he kills Katherine. Mike will be suffering and he’ll be dead.
We don’t know that for sure. Though it wouldn’t surprise me.
