Mike finally discovers that it was Orson who tried to kill him with his truck.
And some other stuff–but I don’t know what.

I’m really looking forward to this. Who knows how Mike will react, what with his prior amnesia and his addiction.
Mike forgives him, Susan is working on it - but Bree is having trouble?
Cop daddy is seriously creeping me out…
Gabi is a bitch. Ok, she redeemed herself just a hair when she let sweetie Roxy sleep in the bed with them. Gabi is short, what’s the problem?
I thought this one was stupid and hard to believe. Gabby was mean and stupid about the dog. Lynette was a jerk. The Scavo twins were predictable. Susan was boring and Julie was just dumb.
Not one of their finer or more insightful episodes IMO.
I liked it. I liked the contrast between Bree protecting her son over a hit-and-run, while condemning Orson for the same thing. I liked the tension between Tom and Lynette. It was good to see her get her moral comuppence. I liked the subtle changes beginning to formulate in Gabriel. Good episode, I thought.
No kidding. When she was bitching about the dog sleeping with them, I wanted to scream at the TV, “You’re a size 00! There’s plenty of room!”
So is the creepy dad actually the dad or is it someone else? I get a weird vibe from that storyline.
And I guess I was right about who set the fire. I suspected one of the kids last week.
I’m creeped out by that dad as well, though I must say I’m glad to see Gary Cole still working.
So will the Scavos ever fess up about who set the fire? I imagine they wouldn’t, because there would surely be a humongous lawsuit. But what’s to be done with the little arsonists?
disappointing ep. only Gabi’s slow growth is interesting. Tom and Lynette - yuck. and the writers should not split up Orson and Bree, the perfect couple.
So someone refresh me…Why did Orson hit Mike? And why did Mike throw Orson off the parking structure? For some reason I thought he did that to get back at Orson for hitting him. For some reason I always that that made them ‘even’.
Regarding Gabby’s “change” this week…she made the same ‘change’ last week with the toothpaste speech. Gabby is Gabby. She’s not real likely to change. If she changes too much, she won’t be Gabby. ISTM the only reason she’ll have for changing is to prove to Edie that she can still handle Carlos.
ETA scratch that last line. She doesn’t need to prove to Edie that she can still handle Carlos. She needs to do whatever it takes to make sure her and Carlos appear to be happy. As long as the at least appear to be happy, that’s +1 she’s got over Edie.
Another thing. I rarely notice ‘goofs’ since I don’t really watch for them, so since I caught two of them, I’m gonna mention them.
1)In the cafe with ‘dad’ there were two guys sitting behind ‘dad’, then they were gone.
2)When Lynette was asking Tom if he started the fire while he was trying to light the burner he left the gas on. I actually thought it was going to be a setup to either blow something up or make a big fireball when he lit the match, but when they panned back over, the knob was set back to off.
Did you notice that when Gabby and Carlos were standing in the kitchen with the dog, that the dog wasn’t actually there during the scene? Gabby walked back and forth a couple of times right through the space the dog was supposed to be (just to Carlos’ left) and everytime Carlos reached down to pet the dog, there was a scene cut.
Yeah, but seeing him in anything other than *Office Space * throws me off. In fact, as soon as I saw him, “Lumburgh fucked her” popped into my head.
For me, it was The Brady Bunch Movie. I expected him to tell her, “When you tell on someone else, you’re really just telling on yourself. And that’s a tale you don’t want to tell.” And I wanted her to say, “Gee, I never thought of it that way before.”
American Gothic, for me, which made certain scenes even creepier
