Of course you could slide on down I-4 and I-75 this Saturday for TruePisces’ going away mini DopeFest in Bradenton, or thereabouts. She should be bumping with some details today! And no whining about the distance. Distance means nothing, just ask Falcon.

No, they’re pretty good! I enjoyed myself, though it was a little difficult to get to know people more there… (Then again, we had the same problem at RenFest, so what am I talking about!!! ) If you can do it, I say go for it. Just wish there was a way I’d get a chance to see you one more time, Pez. 
Sorry TP. I would love to get to see you too but I haven’t seen my brother in months and he will only be here saturday and part of sunday. The show you came to was a bit hectic so we didn’t get to spend time. Are you going away for good?
I’m hoping for an O-Town dopefest. I’ll get my license this weekend and will therefore be enabled to go to central Florida DF’s in the future.
Tampa is out of the question for me, yet it seems to be working for a number of others.
As I mentioned in another thread, I’ll be arriving in Orlando a week later. Any chance of postponing until the 10th?

Church Street Station has gone downhill, but there are several other bars and restaurants in the area.
There’s always Downtown Disney (free parking, as opposed to Universal CityWalk, which charges for parking).
I’ll check the Orlando Weekly for more places.

I like the whole idea of an O-town dope fest. Count me in, even though I’m new (well, I did post quite a bit a few years ago).
BTW, CityWalk doesn’t charge parking after 6:00, but Downtown Disney and CityWalk would be very crowded and very very expensive. We live in the restaurant capital of the world. We should be able to find something better suited for us that we could agree on. I’m thinking something along the lines of Gator’s or the ilk, good food, lots of room, less tourists etc.
Yeah, I think I probably will go ahead to Sarasota, assuming the flames don’t overtake my car.
I love Downtown Disney, myself. Is that cheesy? I have a special spot in my heart for the House of Blues. But, those places are rather expensive. Particularly if the gathering Dopers are planning to hang around and chat/drink/munch for awhile. Aren’t there some cool places at The Crossroads? You know where that is - very close to Downtown Disney?
