I thought this was quite well done for a teevee movie. Much better than many of the other adaptations of King’s work. Ron Perlman is always worth watching, and he certainly got his teeth into this role. I liked Tom Skerritt a lot, too. Golly gee, Tom sure has gotten old and grey and gnarly-looking. But in a good way.
My only problem is that my husband, who watched this movie with me, has been going around the house for weeks emitting sporadic utterances of “Tak!” for no reason other than to be a silly person.
