I live in a traditionally very “red” county which is an exurb of an extremely “blue” city. Except my county hasn’t been red overall in some time, and it’s getting significantly bluer, especially since 2016. My precinct, as shown in the map above, has also lurched leftward since 2016. Nice to be able to see this level of detail. What kind of change, if any, have people seen in their own neighborhoods?
That’s a fascinating map. Unfortunately, my area of California isn’t shown.
I’ll see a large chunk of county out in the country that’s colored bright red, and when I hover over it, I’ll see that 100% of that area voted for Trump. But it’ll show only a couple of voters in that area. I wonder what’s up with that.
