I know, right? We’ve only had half a week or school and I already have a memo due on Tuesday. And since that class has met all of once (during which all we did was introduce ourselves and go over the syllabus) I think I actually need to do the reading as bullshitting doesn’t really seem possible at this point.

I faintly remember an “olives”.
I hate to do this, but I think I’m gonna’ have to back out of this one. I just don’t trust the roads (and more to the point: my car on said roads), due to the weather and the relative distance I’d have to travel. Particularly, I’d be a bit concerned about the trip back. So, I’m gonna’ have to miss it this time.
That said, count me in next time, come…well…hell or high water.
Yeh, but, next time we’re scheduling it during a typhoon.

Took me 2 hours to make a 35 mile round trip downriver to drop off my boy, snow is fun. 
I’m lobbying hard for Milk, but not too hard because we also want to see Doubt and Frost/Nixon too.

Well, that was a fun night. I’m glad we went to the theater after all.
Just got home… roads were better coming back. I’m glad I went too, it’s always great to see you guys even though we were more thinned out than usual.
And I feel like I learned a little about Persia. Almost a Persian expert, actually.
Great movie too, go see Milk!

I’m ever so glad you saw the light about how cool Michigan Theatre is, dear LOUNE. Where else can you see a man play his organ and cool movies? Even if the seats are old and small and one might get accidentally elbowed in the head, totally worth it.
We missed you olives and Dom. 
I hope they figure out and fix your tummy soon so you can come visit us!

Don’t worry, they didn’t actually learn anything about Persia. I mistakenly pointed out the building where I have my Persian class and was immediately bombarded with bizarre unanswerable questions about Persia. (Okay, I was able to answer “How do you say ‘hello friend’ in Persian?” But as that is my level of skill, nothing more advanced than that.)
But then they were distracted by cmyk’s car and its futuristic parking tools.
It was great to meet you all…hope we can do it again sometime, although I vote NO on snowstorm Dopefests in the future.
Actually my car is from the future. Okay… I’m from the future. Just… don’t leave home March 18th, 2014… trust me.
