Dexter S05 E06 - "Everything is Illumenated"

According to this Luminol only glows for 30 seconds, so it’s realistic that the rest of the team didn’t see anything.

I suppose it would make sense to maybe set up an anonymous bank account for each victim and transfer money into it. Or maybe Paypal accounts. I mean if the bodies are never found then the police might think they just skipped town, especially if they transfer a few thousand right as they go missing.

He wasn’t saying that because he wanted to screen for fingerprints. You got that, right?

Well, hey… I figured that Masuka would still be thorough and dust for fingerprints in addition to swabbing for ahem bodily fluids and/or lube. :stuck_out_tongue:

“Don’t touch that nozzle, you DO know where it’s been!” :stuck_out_tongue:

of course it really hadn’t been there, but it’s still a funny thing to think, in a Vince sorta way.

…when he snapped that guys neck? I replayed it like 9 times and can’t understand him at all.

I think he said “Bye Bye” as an echo of Harrison’s new words.

He said “finally” - meaning that at some point he began to suspect that Lumen was correct and needed the guy to do something so he could finish the job.

Wasn’t it “die die”?

That’s what I heard. Which was a repeat of Harrison’s first words.

Because gang-rapists don’t call the cops!

The best scenes in this episode (next to Masuko’s pantomime) were Dexter looking back and forth from Lumen to the dentist, trying to decide whom to believe. The kicker should have been “What’s a dentist, married with children, doing hanging out in a bar picking up chicks?”. But it took the phone call to convince him.

Just re-watched the scene - it was most definitely not “die die” or “finally” - it was three words, best I can figure is " time to leave " -

I heard it as “Not tonight!” in reply to his threat that Lumen’s going to get her comeuppance.
