If a woman has untreated diabetes/high blood sugar, can that affect how she tastes when a man performs cunnilingus on her?
If she’s a squirter, certainly.
I wonder if I can get a research grant to test this theory?
Seriously, though. A friend of my wife had really high blood sugar and was looking at starting insulin. Instead she lost 100 pounds and took metformin and her blood sugar went down and she didn’t need to go on insulin. But during some “girl talk” she told my wife that her husband had insisted that this changed how she tasted.
So, would that actually happen. I know what men eat/drink/smoke is said to affect the taste of semen.
(HTF do these things come up during “girl talk”:eek:
??? And women say men are pigs! And BTW, don’t they realize that some women, like my wife, go home and tell this shit to their hubby? Now I’m online talking about some other womans crotch! See the chain reaction of these things? Knock it off, girls!
Ketones can be smelled on the breath and may be present in blood and urine, so I would be surprised if you couldn’t also taste them. Of course, ketones would also be a sign that the diabetes is not well controlled.
But in the case mentioned, there are also dietary changes and medication changes. Either of those alone would likely have an effect.
Elevated blood glucose will affect the glucose content of sweat and nasal secretions.
It is likely that the glucose content of secretions from other secretory cells such as those producing vaginal lubrication during sexual arousal would be similarly affected. This elevation could be detected by taste.
I remember during my First responder training being told that it might smell like apples. But that was on the breath. Nobody said anything about the kooch.
Before insulin was discovered they knew some people’s urine smelled sweet due to excess sugar. So that caused them to look into what caused the excess sugar.
Not the smell of urine. The sweet taste of urine when a diabetic is spilling sugar was the tipoff that diabetes was related to excess sugar.
These days that sort of job is relegated to medical students.
Not everyone can detect DKA, I’ve been around plenty and I never can.
Completely off topic but same point - friend of mine, his wife’s cousin was often annoying. He told me once about the cousin and her husband “doin’ it” on the balcony of their hotel totally nude during a Mexican vacation - only to realize after that there was a fellow looking over the railing a few rooms up and over who ahd a good view of the proceedings. (Mind you she was about 150Lb overweight, so not exactly Playboy channel material)
Anyway, they are all sitting around the table having dinner one day and the cousin gets rude, so my friend says “yeah, well at least I didn’t put on a free sex show for anyone in the hotel in Mexco!”.
Cousin whacks her husband and yells “You ***told ***him about that!!??”
He gets a very hurt look, points at my friend’s wife and tells his wife, “No, you told her!”.
Yep. women will gossip.
