Diane vs. Jerry

And Diane wins by T.K.O!
Thank you for an on-target interview this morning Diane.
Woooooo!

You know, this thread might be more interesting if I had a clue what you were talking about. Care to fill me in?

I would guess Diane was Diane Sawyer and Jerry was Jerry Falwell, but a hard-hitting interview by Diane Sawyer is so inconceivable…

Where can I get a transcript of that?

Ok, I didn’t have much time earlier.

Diane Sawyer called Jerry Falwell on his crude remarks made last week. He tried to weasel a bit, but she flat out made him address the remarks he made and he then apologized profusely.

It was a bright spot in my morning.

Here is a link to a Washington Post article that quotes some of Falwell’s comments.

I was about half asleep last night when I was scanning the news channels but I hear Geraldo rip Jerry a new one. Jerry would start explainging or trying to apologize and Geraldo would interrupt with things like,
“That wasn’t very Chrsitian-like, was it?” and “What were you thinking?”

I think I chuckled myself to sleep

Thanks, aenea.

Arden Ranger: I wish I could’ve witnessed Geraldo ripping him a new one. That guy must have dozens of assholes by now.

For a second there you had me wondering if I had gotten really drunk, got into a wrestling match with some guy name Jerry, and then forgot all about it.

Dang!

jerry’s and pat’s remarks are so strangely in tune with bin laden, that at first glance i thought they were quoting osama. just goes how religion can be a frount for everyone.

Wasn’t the OP about Diane Wiesst and Jerry Seinfeld?

He wants to be in the new Woody Allan movie and she said “buster, you haven’t a hope in hell - too successful and far too funny!”
