Dick Van Dyke cars burns up on the 101.

Close call for Dick Van Dyke. That car is burnt to a crisp. Someone pulled him out just in time.

Semms like a really nice guy in the roadside interview. I’d be a lot grumpier under the circumstances. :stuck_out_tongue: Glad he’s ok.

I’d swear that’s Rob Petrie describing one of his klutzy accidents.

^Just saw that on the local news. Whew.

Glad he is OK. Surprised a 87 yr old guy is driving a Jaguar. I would have thought he would been driving a Tarantula.

Yes I watch too much TV.

“Oh, Rob!”

Car’s on fire!!

Car’s on fire, step in time!
Car’s on fire, step in time!
Never need a reason, never need a rhyme,
Car’s on fire, step in time!

I’m glad he’s ok. But there HAS to be a “trips over the ottoman” joke in here somewhere…

Well, I guess he’s not any more.

(At least not that particular one.)

He still seems amazingly spry and alert for an 87 year old.

Good for him!

He shouldn’t have been driving such a shitty, shitty bang bang.

Didn’t I see this in an episode of CHiPs?

Is there any explanation of why his car suddenly burst into flames? Should I not buy a Jaguar unless I’m carrying a bag of marshmallows?

They bought the Pinto Technology from Ford in a Fire Sale.

Maybe he has an enemy. Check the battery for a squeegee.

I never saw that man (or his battery) in my life! Leave my username out of it, you cad!

And if it wasn’t for those meddling kids at the SDMB I would have gotten away with it, too!

Dick Van Dyke has an interesting hobby - 3D computer animation.

He’s had his one warning. Nobody cuts into the murder solving business in Cabot Cove. That’s Fletcher turf.

Some people are fortunate. I hope he keeps going for another 20 years at least.

Bravo.
mmm

One of the best little Diagnosis Murder bits was there Dr. Sloan was with his son searching a house, when he suddenly stops and says “I almost tripped over that ottoman.”

Glad he’s okay. He’s always been a favorite of mine.
