I had never heard of him, but he died about a week ago.

I was listening to the music stream one night and a beautiful song came on called “Hiding Behind the Moon.” I thought it was a woman singing.
The DJ came on after and said it was Jeff Hanson, and how sad it was he just died. I thought I misheard him, or that he had his song track off…he sounds that much like a woman. I looked him and the song up, and he’s not a woman, but he is famous for singing in a falsetto.
He sounds like Elliott Smith when he sings in a falsetto…his music is even pretty similar.
I’m going through his three main CDs…gorgeous indy folk music…it’s a shame he died.
