It was really good. Some of the people who sang his music could release those performances and they’d be hits. I think that says something about both George’s music and the performers.
I especially liked Jamie Foxx’s rendition of “You Look So Good In Love”…

Crap. I was planning on watching that but I forgot to DVR it. I really like the older country music including George Strait. I was suprised when the ad said Jamee Foxx was going to be on it. I know he can sing and I’m glad his performance was good.
The performances were great, but I couldn’t help thinking “George Strait does this song so much better…”
I watched off and on.
IMO, Martina is the greatest current female country singer. What a voice.
I’ve seen GS in concert at least half a dozen times. He rocks. Sad I missed it.
As far as covers I’ve always thought george should do a cover of the Cure’s Pictures of You.
