Because somebody* stole a base in a World Series game, Taco Bell is giving out free tacos today. Has anybody collected?
I’m curious if they care about people coming through the line twice. Do they dip your thumb in purple ink, like an Iraqi election?

I had lunch today at Taco Bell, and had no idea of this promotion. No one else that I saw there was getting any free tacos either. Is this a national promotion, or is it limited to the San Francisco area?

They said everyone in America in the ads. I think you have to ask for a free Doritos taco specifically.
Also, it’s only from 2-6 pm, I’m assuming that’s whatever time it is in that area.
So go get’em!
Giving them a free taco probably discourages anyone from trying.
Aaagh! I wandered into a Taco Bell, and they gave me – gasp – a taco! What the hell was I thinking? :smack:
The free tacos are the Doritos shelled ones. So, basically, yes.

I ordered the free one - and two additional to make a meal. When I got to the window and tried to pay for the other two they said don’t worry about it. I guess as long as you didn’t try to order too many they weren’t concerend about people double dipping.
(Or maybe since it was after 5pm when I went, they had an ‘allotment’ and weren’t near it?)

My daughter got one, thanks to grandpa not wanting to cook an after-school snack for her. They also had a chicken taco salad waiting for me when I got home from work.
