Did anyone catch the gay PDAs in Modern Family?

The interviews are meant to be soliloquies; like how Malcolm was constantly addressing the audience on Malcolm in the Middle.

I just wanted to bump this thread to say that the issue of Mitchell showing affection was last night’s A-plot.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was a Questionable Content reference or something…

I thought Jay & Gloria & her dead grandmother was the A-plot. At least any plot involving Gloria’s cleavage is always the A-plot to me.

Just keep stirring.

That’s the T&A-plot

I’m glad they addressed it, and since they made the effort, I’m going to accept this was always part of the plan and not simply a response to the complaints that were voiced about S1.

I’m still picturing Claire Dunphy coming home in a police car dressed in panties and a police blanket…

It was a fantastic episode, and one that actually showcased what terrific timing all the kid actors have as well. Fun, touching, and while eps (like last week’s) where each of the families have their own story are enjoyable, it’s really the ones which have them all converge in one place that makes this show and its dynamic really special.

This episode was really good. It seems like the show is becoming more confident with its comedy.

I usually find some of the jokes cringeworthy or terribly flat, but not in this episode. I even liked Phil’s “He lost his LID after she tried to CONTAIN him.”

And Stonestreet (Cameron) is always amazing with his line delivery.
