I’ve been away for awhile…overworked and incapacitated. Incommunicado. Dealing with private issues and wrestling with some personal demons. Unfortunately, some of these demons have gotten the upper hand and I’m still unable to spend as much time here as I’d like.
So, that being said, can anyone hook me up with some of the more “essential” threads that have appeared here in the past few months? The funny, the profound, the infuriating. How are all the recent spate of Doper romances working out? The weddings? Did AudreyK and KKB ever get to the mainland? In a nutshell, what’s been going on in here?
I know I’m opening myself up to a number of smartass, responses (to my original question) of “no” and “didn’t even notice you were gone.” Fine. Fling away. In the meantime, if anyone else can help me out, I’d appreciate it. I’ve missed you all and hope everything’s well with this wonderful community. And, if I’m not back again posting anytime soon, I may still be out here lurking.

I hadn’t noticed you were gone, but I get a kick out of seeing your name, so I’m glad you’re kind of back.
So. What’s been up lately? I’m not sure I’m the best one to answer, but I’ll try to throw a few out.
lobley has/had a few Pit threads going in which the theme is American/lobley bashing. I haven’t really read much of that whole shpiel.
Depending on how long you’ve been gone, there was a nice Pit fiasco involving what started out as an innocent bookbinding question that fizzled down into a vegetarian debate/nazi mods/horrendous bashing fiasco. It might be best to gloss that one over instead of rehashing it. But it happened.
I’m mostly a MPSIMS gal, so those tend to be quick & fleeting. Perhaps someone with better linking skills will be along shortly and provide you with better material.
Oh, sorry…AudreyK and KK are settling down in Seattle quite nicely, and we have some PNW DopeFest’s planned. MsRobyn and Airman Doors tied the knot, as did Shayna and Spiny Norman. From all accounts, all are blissfully happy with their newlywed status…we aren’t exactly hearing much from them. Hmmmm…wonder why?

KK and I have been in Washington for about a month now, and we like it here a lot. Our apartment is cute and now that the movers have brought our stuff, it’s full of stuff to make it homey. silent_rob will be here in a few weeks, and he’ll stay with us, attend some 'fests, and see the town.
