The sniper rifle scene was funny, especially when you realize that he must keep that thing in his trunk all the time.

The funniest part of that scene for me was his line about the safety (after having already aimed at Michael).

“The safey is … [flipping the safety lever] … on.”

Telling line… “When we used to have cable (or was that satellite??)”

I think Michael is being eaten out of house and home by his load of a girlfriend. I think they are hinting at it whenever he has to lose something he loves to give her what she wants.

No, I’m pretty sure that was in reference to Michael cutting back on non-essential spending in order to get his finances in some sort of order (which Jan is supportive of).
