Sometime in the last few days, law enforcement officers conducting a training exercise in Foss Lake near Elk City, OK, discovered two sunken cars. After they pulled them out they found the remains of 3 bodies in each car. The funny thing is that the cars match the descriptions of vehicles of persons that went missing around 20 years apart. One car and its owner and friends went missing in the 1950’s, the other went missing in the early 1970’s. The vehicles were side by side in the lake. Seems very coincidental.
If I read my Google Maps correctly, Foss Lake is the biggest body of water for a long way around. Maybe it’s the dumping point of choice for a lot of people.
Or just a random occurrence where two vehicle left the road (weather or driver-related) at approximately the same location, ending up next to each other underwater.
I’ll save any speculation until there’s been an autopsy. Unless you want to speculate on what the results would be if this were an episode of Bones.
