Oh, I’m sure that you’re misunderstood sometimes - it happens to most everyone. (Heck, look at the pit thread Mijin threw for me. The poor guy can’t connect three posts in a line.) And when you seem to be honestly misunderstood that doesn’t bother me.
But there are times when you are being understood perfectly and rebutted most vociferously, and after a certain point (possibly a frustration point) you do switch to holier-than-thou mode and start talking down to everyone instead of actually arguing. It’s quite obvious from a third-party perspective, and the signs seem clear enough when it happens to myself as well. And yes, in those cases I don’t believe you honestly think you are being misunderstood. I think you think you’re being underappreciated. Which is not the same thing.

Bwahahaha!” -Forgetting of course that you’re not actually making him silent; you’re making yourself deaf, with the accompanying appearance of one too haughty, cowardly, or argumentively incapable to respond.
Personally, even putting aside considerations of how rude and childish it is to give somebody the silent treatment, I just wouldn’t be able to stand not seeing the posts. I’d need to know what was being said. (I’m weak that way.)

Actually I am thinking about removing Bryan Ekers. Nothing has been missed by ignoring Lobohan and ElvisL1ves, but also there is a view post section so I can take a peek any time I want to.
