I watched it at least 20 years ago, and it seemed like a confusing, weirdly pretentious mess. So I figured I’d give it another shot now that I’m older and “wiser”? Has anyone else seen it? Am I missing a deeper message?
Are you talking about the Richard Stanley horror film? Did you see the full movie or the bastardized US edit ? Although - “weirdly pretentious” would apply to Stanley’s work either way, and I’m a fan, especially of his music videos for Fields of The Nephilim, his documentaries and, of course, Hardware.
Yes, I am, sorry. And I don’t know if it was the bastardized version, but I agree that Hardware was weird as well.
