We could always email the IRS and ask for her personal information, and they could ask us why, and we could tell them…and the IRS will have the biggest laugh they have had in decades.
Remember her opponent claims he cannot release his IRS documents, but wants her to release hers. He also has made many bizarre claims including having been the best student baseball player in New York State and to have won a number of golf tournaments with little evidence.
When the media addresses those claims, they can get to this claim.

I have had about 25 jobs. I remember many of the faces of people I worked with. Also many of the names, which I am good at remembering. But not usually the “twenty or thirty” claimed in the first post. Most of the bosses. I doubt I could prove a few of the very distant jobs, or that this would matter one iota.
Anybody who remembers a teen named Kamala working at a McDonalds in Alameda some 40 years ago should be congratulated for their memory and advised that if they make a public statement they will become a public figure and lose some protection when the inevitable libelous attacks follow. It is difficult to see how this would be a win for good governance.
More specifically, Courts give greater protection to people who have not put themselves in public eye.
Unlike public figures, private individuals do not have to prove actual malice to win damages for libel.

And may we remind you this is the party that elected George Santos. Who falsified records about high achievements at major corporations and colleges, that could be, and were, easily debunked. But it was those claiming the falsification that did the legwork, not himself.

Many Democrats, on the internet, said the same thing about Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate. They were mistaken. It helped Obsma to release it.
If she can get a social security earnings record that would show this, she should.
Maybe she cannot do that because she worked under the table. Or maybe she worked there for only a week or two. Or maybe it was a place similar to McDonald’s. If so, there’s nothing to do. But if she can ask social security for the record, she should.
P.S. I’m not saying to look for a witness. Unfortunately, this would result in the witness/coworker getting hate mail.

As noted several times in this thread, if she worked for a franchisee-owned restaurant, rather than a corporate-owned restaurant (i.e., owned by McDonald’s itself), the W2 would likely not settle it in the least, as it’ll show the name of the franchisee company, not McDonald’s.
Regardless, even if she jumped through the hoops to prove this (and she shouldn’t), Trump and his toadies would just move the goalposts.
I bet I could dig up the names of some managers from my HS jobs. But the only reason I could do that is because I had to get a Federal security clearance for a job in the early 1990s, when I was in my early 20s. The security clearance went back 15 years. Yes, back to when I was 7 years old.
I did a FOIA request for a copy of the investigation report after the fact. They literally interviewed the parents of the family I babysat for my freshman year of college. It was insane. I have a copy in the basement somewhere.
Disagree. Most McDonald’s franchise owners only operate McDonald’s. And it’s not like their other business, if it exists, is totally different.

Harris said she worked in McDonald’s to show that show she isn’t from an elite background. This is important because the Democrats are being painted as out of touch elitists. I don’t care about such in making my own voting decisions. But some swing voters actually care about this.
WHY? This is one of the stupidest things to have to prove. How many gazillion young people have worked fast food? Why is this something she needs to prove? What point is there in bragging that you worked at one of the most common jobs?
This is one of the dumbest things I have heard of. But, they are coming often. Did Walz cheat on his dog with another dog? He needs to prove he didn’t!
But, it still means that the W2 will say something like “FredJim Restaurants LLC,” not “McDonald’s.” And, it’s 40 years later – that franchisee company may not even exist anymore.
Regardless, it’s not cut-and-dried that producing that W2 would shut Trump up.
On one side, you have two wealthy, ivy-league candidates. On the other side, you have one candidate that went to an HBCU and the other went to State.
