Did Molly Shannon ever make a thriller, with an armed police standoff where she gets shot?

I just saw some short clips from a movie (I presume), Molly Shannon was the only one in the cast I recognized. It was a suburban setting, some guy gets shot in the back at a neighborhood barbeque, later she and a 10-year-old boy both have handguns and are in a standoff with law enforcement, and a sharpshooter picks her off (not immediately dead). There’s some young guy associated with law enforcement who was probably the star, but I didn’t recognize him. I think this must be in the last, say, 10 years, based on her appearance, but I’m not certain. I couldn’t find it in her IMDb listing.

There was a narrator describing events, rather than audio from the clips, but unfortunately it was in a foreign language, and I never saw anything to identify the movie. It all looked pretty intense, and I wondered if the movie was worth watching.

Huh, interesting (and thanks). I have read every review in IMDb about that film, as well as the plot synopsis, and nothing seems to hint at the scenes I saw. But it does sound like that film is worth watching, even if it isn’t the film I saw clips from (which it might be).

It’s an episode of the series Hannibal titled “Oeuf.”

Pretty sure that was an episode infamously unaired or significantly edited because of the Sandy Hook school massacre.

Yes, that’s it. IMDb says “The “web series” version of the episode is heavily censored and runs only 22 minutes. There are no scenes featuring Molly Shannon or the murder of children.”
