Don’t want to elaborate much, but actually I was thinking this morning that it was probably a mistake for the president to show himself as being so personally involved in the setup and execution of OBL’s killing. Not in terms of US electoral politics, but in other respects.

Well, what I heard on the Internet is that in fact President Obama personally lead the Navy SEAL Delta Force Team mission to bin Laden’s compound. When they all burst into the room bin Laden was hiding in, bin Laden emptied the clip on his AK-47 but missed with all his shots. Then, even though he still had plenty of ammunition in his Presidential Special silenced .44 Magnum Sub-Machine Gun, Obama contemptuously tossed it aside, saying “I don’t need a gun for this”. He and bin Laden then had a knock-down no-holds-barred fight–incidentally, bin Laden was never some frail old guy with kidney problems; he was actually an adept in the ancient martial arts of the Secret Order of Assassins, roughly equivalent to having black belts in Jiujitsu, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga. Also, bin Laden had a big knife. At the end, bin Laden was lying on the ground, beaten and bruised and pleading for mercy. Obama calmly turned his back, saying “OK, boys–take him into custody, and we’ll put him on trial in Federal District Court in Lower Manhattan for the murder of nearly 3,000 innocent Americans on September 11!” However, as soon as the President turned his back on bin Laden, bin Laden managed to get hold of a gun and was about to shoot the President in the back when Joe Biden shot bin Laden right through the eye socket.
Naturally, the President’s political advisors all urged him to make these facts public, but Obama was concerned that if the American people ever found out the true story, we would all spontaneously demand the repeal of the 22nd Amendment and vote to make Obama President-for-Life, and Obama is just too deeply committed to Democracy and the American Way to risk letting that happen.
According to the (and I can’t stress this enough) completely fictitious “Washington Insider”, Obama was not only against getting Osama, but was such a indecisive, pathetic wreck when the decision was put to him that his advisors were able to over-ride him simply because he was to much of a wimp to stand up for himself.
How this picture of a meek, wimpy Obama squares with the Obama who has his multiple gay lovers murdered to silence them isn’t really clear.
Yea, I like how the writer can’t just stop at making Obama gay, he’s gay and he’s a serial killer and he’s a drug addict.

Thinking about this more, I kinda hope someone makes a movie biography of Obama based on the premise that all the craziest right-wing theories about him are true. Born in Kenya as part of a 50 year Soviet-illuminati-NWO plot to capture the Presidency, taught in a Madrassa in Indonesia by jyhadist-nazis, spent a decade as a bi-sexual serial killer, bombed the Pentagon with Ayers, joined the black panthers. Minor pet-peeve: Bias is reporting only those facts that support your cause, and neglecting to report ones that don’t, or phrasing things to put your side in the best possible light. A lie isn’t “biased”, its just a lie.

Given that there are widely circulated photos (even displayed on the quoted site itself) of Obama and a team of advisors apparently watching real-time video of the operation, fail to see how this could be the case. What, the President had to get up to pee just as the SEALs were about to bust into bin Laden’s villa?
Not picking on you, specifically, but the premise of this thread, that the Commander-in-Chief of the US armed forces, would or even could be ‘overruled’ by anyone on a matter of this type, short of a coup d’Etat , seems absurd. Really, the need of some people to shit on every single action by whatever the current administration happens to be is bizarre beyond belief.
The article is a fiction. My point is that comments like “in this case, as in all others” make it plain that this is someone is not interested in the facts - just someone creating a security blanket for people who hate Obama pathologically.
