Did the USS Iowa have a "ship's song"?

…that is, a (whatever variety of “offical”) “theme song” for the ship? I’ve seen a couple of sources claiming the USS Wisconsin used “On, Wisconsin”, and an old post on these very boards says the Nimitz occasionally used the theme from “The Final Countdown.” (Not the Europe song)

Anyone happen to know this one? Heck, are there any former Iowa crewmen here who’d know firsthand?

In the Navy?

(Unbelievably, the U.S. Navy did actually use it for a recruitment video.)

My dad was on the Iowa. I’ll ask him when I talk to him tonight. FYI, I believe there’s a Iowa website or used to be.

Ok, just talked to Dad and he said nope. He was also on the Macon and apparently they didn’t have one either. Which I suppose is good as my dad can’t carry a tune in a bucket…

Qualifier: Dad served during the Korean Conflict so things may have changed after he left.
