Jesus Fucking Christ. This person is going to be president of the United States.
All of you guys who are saying “Calm the fuck down, what’s the worst that could happen?”, this is an example of how Trump is going to govern the fucking country.
And the crazy thing is, all the people who voted for Trump because they couldn’t stand Crooked Hillary’s lies. You know how Hillary lied all the time? So yeah. Can someone explain why is it when Trump says things that are completely untrue, it doesn’t count as what normal people call “lies”? I guess if it’s so clearly and easily demonstrably untrue that it doesn’t count as a lie?
I guess some of those “millions of people” were among of those “thousands of people” in Jersey who Trump claimed cheered on the 9/11 attacks. That is, they exist only somewhere in the recesses of his deteriorating mind.
I will not hold my breath waiting for Trump to produce the slightest shred of evidence for either of these claims. As we now know, facts don’t matter any more.
A hallmark of the Bush II and Reagan administrations, if I recall.
I thought “post truth era” was stupid and overthought when it first came up a month or so ago. I think it’s the New Truth. Reality will be sitting out the next lap.
The people that don’t actually think he lies live in their own reality. They get their news from carefully curated sites that reinforce their world view and everything else is a liberal conspiracy.
Then there are those that know he lies and think Hillary is worse. In theory you should be able to point to evidence that shows Trump lies like 4 times as often, his economic plans will raise the debt more than hers, his foreign policy is insane, etc. I’m not sure how to do that though. It seems that e-mails and Benghazi trump anything including fraud, racism, breaking the Cuban embargo, and being a Russian puppet. However, if she didn’t do those things I’m sure something else would have come up.
I think the people lie Bricker that will vote D when it’s actually a better choice vs straight R no matter what, are a pretty rare breed.
Say a lie once and some will call it a lie.
Speak it with authority and it is something we all hear.
If we hear it enough it becomes common knowledge.
Hear it again, it becomes common sense.
When those who oppose your team deny it, it becomes common ground to defend.
When it is common ground to defend, it becomes something you believe in.
When it becomes something you believe in, you form an ideology to support it.
When you have an ideology, it becomes the truth you base your life on.
The lie becomes truth.
I’m not sure it’s that he fears losing the election via recount, it’s his damned ego again. Trump holds numbers related to him very dearly, the bigger the better and truth behind them be damned.
Only a few years ago he sued for libelover being called a millionaire whose fortune was probably worth $150-$250 million when Trump feels (yes, FEELS) it is over $7 Billion.
The explanation is rather simple: Whenever Hillary speaks, she’s lying. When Trump speaks, he’s saying stuff his supporters already believe is true. At least, that’s the way the Trumpites see it.
I wonder if this is Trump’s idea or the Republicans’?
After all, if millions of people are voting illegally that gives them an excuse to surround polling places with police to keep “undesirables” away; such as, anyone who might vote Democratic.
Democracy depends on the confidence that after all is said and done that the vote counts for national elections are honest. If we lose that, we’re one step away from tanks surrounding the Capitol building.

Apparently, 1 in 5 people in the world are Chinese. And there are 5 people in my family, so it must be one of them. It’s either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother Colin. Or my younger brother Ho-Chau-Chou. But I think it’s Colin.
