Well, there was the show last year that I never watched that said we didn’t land on the moon and it was a lie. Is that true? Did we land on the moon or is some huge conspiracy?
Actually, its far, far worse than that. Did you know that nobody actually discovered North America? It’s true, it was on Fox recently. We’re actually all still living in Europe, believing what ‘they’ tell us. Columbus’s journey was faked (after all, have you actually met a sailor from one of his boats - or even seen such a boat?)…
We’ve yet to see any credible evidence that it was a conspiracy. All of the ‘evidence’ the paranoids point to has been explained perfectly rationally in the context of us actually landing on the moon.
Yes, perhaps I should have not been quite so sarcastic. Using good old Occam’s razor, and the knowledge that we definitely have (and had) the technology and the money, there’s just no good reason for something as creaky as a conspiracy that big (I seem to remember that the moon program employed directly and indirectly as many as a million people at its height).

We will never know what really happened because there was the great crash of 1972 when everything was reset to the way is was in 1967 and the intervening years were lost forever.
