Definitely a factual question with an empirical answer.
My wife and I enjoy Wolferman’s Super-Thick English muffins every so often. We place an order a few times each year and freeze them. Our most recent order seems to have thinner Super-Thick muffins than our order placed in the late summer. We base this on two observations.
First, they look thinner.
Second, the muffins now turn in the bag. The used to sit one on top of each other, four in each bag. When we unpacked this last order, virtually every bag had two muffins stacked perpendicular to the bag opening and then two more also perpendicular to the bag. We had never seen this before. It would make sense if they are thinner than they once were. I don’t think you could even turn the older muffins in the bag.
Unfortunately, we don’t have an old bag so we can compare the weight. The new bags say there’s 12.84 ounces of muffins in each bag. Maybe someone has an older bag of them in a freezer somewhere so we can see if there’s a difference in weight?
Obviously, this is an important factual question, but we do not need a quick response. We still have six packages left.
