I got my hand slapped and I thought I was making a totally innocent post (see last post of closed thread). 
I had NO idea that the T word is a fightin’ word here and should be taken to the Pit. I wasn’t making an accusation at ALL, I was expressing my skepticism. At every other board I’ve posted, it has no more meaning than “yanking your chain”. Holy cow.
I took it pretty hard. 
There was nothing unbelievable about the story, it is actually something that happens fairly commonly to lonely men although the usual target is strippers. What was unbelievable was him coming here to tell us all about it.
Nothing really seemed implausible about it to me. I’m notoriously gullible, though.
I don’t think he would have posted unless he wanted some form of validation for his choices.
Just the “pandering to web interest-to-sincerity” ratio. It just clicked-in too smoothly, like umkay, or, reaching back, the guy posting soft porn about the pyjama-wearing girl…
I think a lot of us like to think we’re worldly, but when it comes to certain things that are disturbing or repellent enough we readily jump up onto a chair, hoist our skirts and scream “Mouse!”. It’s easier to believe it was all made up than confronting the squalidness of his vignette.
The thing I find hardest to believe is that some/many still believe it was all on the up and up.
I think he was playing everyone, and doing a very good job of it. I was quite enjoying it. He was subtle, but absurd at the same time.
First, he joins and starts this thread without ever responding to another thread. He uses “Whoremonger” in the title which is guaranteed to at the least attract some attention. He posts an original thread which is very plausible, but also will definitely get a few people up in arms about him exploiting women, etc. From here on out it was like pealing the layers off an onion. His posts were well written and grammatically correct… the sign of a person with some intelligence, yet the actions he described (one piece at a time) would be a person with no knowledge of the world at all. Even blind choices would have made a correct decision at least once… he did not. He never got mad or overly defensive at any of the responses as you may expect from someone who is “socially awkward” but instead just answered calmly and then threw in another tidbit to stir the flame.
I’ll admit I believed it at first, but as it got worse and worse I realized he was playing with us. It got kind of fun as each time I imagined “what would the worst case answer be” and sure enough he answered this way each time. I’m sure if it would have been allowed to go on (which I would have enjoyed) there would have been a baby that he was sure was his, or a murder (abusive boyfriend, john, etc.) that he would be helping her cover for.
I’ll admit, I may be wrong, and we will never know for sure. Apparently the mods agree with me since they not only closed the thread but banned the guy.
Go back and re-read it and see if you can come up with anything that he said that didn’t come out to make his situation seem worse and worse. I believe he was having fun with everyone and doing a wonderful job of it.
And Helena, yes the T word is forbidden here except in the pit. Don’t worry you didn’t get a warning because I believe the mods agreed with you but had to reinforce the rule. That is why my post a few above just “doubted” the truth of his posts.
Hey, me again. Had a date with Nicole last night after work. So, yeah, I know my stories seem, far-fetched and un-true, but I really could totally prove it. Got several pictures and video from my phone that I’ve taken. Got a phone number for the girl if anyone would care to call her.
My purpose for starting the thread was just looking for a place to talk about my life with other people. I just feel I lead a very interesting/exciting life and like talking about it.

Just a scribal tic. I’m quite OCD, so I tend to go overboard and take things to an extreme sometimes. My life is very much involved with her and her boyfriend.

So, anyway, let me tell you all, it has been one quite tumultuous, roller-coaster ride of a summer that has brought quite a few crazy/interesting stories.
He still is the former, and I now further doubt his veracity.

The story sounded mostly plausable but chances are a good deal of exageration and a bit of hype went into it. I know of a few guys who have fallen for prostitutes at some level.
