I work for a state of Missouri hospital. We have off MLK day, Lincoln’s B-day (Feb 12) AND President’s Day, Harry S Truman’s birthday (May 8), Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving (but not the day after), Christmas Day, New Year’s Day. If any holiday occurs on a Saturday or a Sunday, we have off the Friday/Monday before/after. This means that if your regular work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, and Christmas Day is on a Saturday, the holiday is Dec. 24 and your working Christmas Day is just considered a regular day of work.
Yes I got off on MLK day.
I was forced to take a vacation day - I am a contractor for the government, my company doesn’t have it off, the government wouldn’t let me go in or work from home.
No, I used to but because of a new employment situation I no longer have that one off.
Nope, corporate office.
