Did You Know Shrek 2 Is a Vehicle for the Evil Transgendered Agenda?

Apparently “traditional values” don’t include compassion or a sense of proportion. And do include those more traditionally ascribed to Chicken Little.

Sheesh!

Not to mention the implication of Donkey on Dragon action at the end! That’s gotta be in Leviticus somewhere!

Well, they can go stick it up their collectiveAshcrofts.

thou shalt not covet thy neighbours talking mule!

I have no smart-ass comments like the rest of you (pity).

Just…wow.

But they have no issue with Bugs dressing up as Brunhilde?

That is, actually, part of the Tenth Commandment. And we all know what trouble Balaam got into listening to his talking donkey!

Not to mention him dressing up as a “bride” to marry Elmer Fudd. Or Bugs dressing as a female tasmanian devil.

Bugs is a transgendered, cross-dressing, err… ummm… I think my head is gonna explode any second!

Not in the UK version. He’s voiced by Jonothan Ross.

Thanks for that link. Lately I felt like I haven’t been getting enough surreal in my diet.

Bolding mine. I can’t tell if that was deliberate or not.

Or relentless French stalking skunks for that matter. You’d think they’d at least take a swipe at M. Le Pew.

 it was,
You can’t beat the line from the first film “I was saving my ass”

Was the Ugly Stepsister supposed to be a transexual? I thought she was just supposed to be an unfortunately mannish, deep-voiced woman. Because she’s the UGLY stepsister. And I don’t think she was supposed to be “evil”, either–she was pretty neutral.
And in this PDF from “Traditional Values”, they express horror that openly homosexual actors like Rupert Everett and Jennifer Saunders are allowed to work. (Among many other dobsinine statements.) Also… Jennifer Saunders? Openly lesbian? Since when? Does her husband know?

Ah. I haven’t seen Shrek 2, but now I will–I may have to purchase it–you know, do my part to keep evil alive and all…

Right on both counts. Ugly was a woman, and not IMO evil.

She has a huge following among gays, and has always strongly supported civil and human rights causes. Nevermind that she’s been married for 20 years and has three kids, she’s clearly queer.

People == dum.

On that same note, Dawn French is also not gay. Nor is Joanna Lumley. Nor Eddie Izzard.

Ru Everett is still queer as a three pound note, however. And he could definitely make me bet for the other team. Mrowr.

Er, “bat” for the other team.

Garcon! Coffee!

He calls himself “A lesbian trapped in a man’s body”

He’s also one of my fave funnymen.

Of course, the ultimate moral of Shrek 2 is to be true to yourself, to embrace the fact that you will not fit the ideal fairy tale images you are bombarded with daily. Also, that ‘happily ever after’ does not mean ‘everything is perfect.’ A point of view, I don’t mind adding, which I sincerely hope my own children take to heart!
