Ok, I got this Part I of this episode on video tape (don’t ask why), and need to know how it ends. Mr. Drummond is in a coma after being in a car accident on his birthday. Does his business partner try to convince the Board to act against Mr. Drummond’s wishes? Does Mr. Drummond recover in time to stop his partner from doing so? I’ll assume he DOES recover! Anything else I should know?
Ok, so I’m really, really out of it…living in a cave.
Mr. Drummond does not get his memory back for a few weeks. He tries to stand in the way of the creepy business partner. So the creepy business partner threatens to have Mr. Drummond declared legally incompetent, in which case he would lose custody of the kids.
So, Willis convinces Arnold that they should run away and go back to Harlem. (this is the weak point in the plot. )
Meanwhile, Mr. Drummond phones the creepy business partner and says he will resign from the board if he drops his motion to have him declared incompetent. The creepy business partner says he will stop by later with the papers.
Then Mr. Drummond catches Willis and Arnold sneaking out the door, gets very angry, and recovers his memory. Just then, the creepy business partner shows up. Mr. Drummond (in a very un-Mr. Drummond-like moment) tells him to “Shove it!” Then there is happiness and freeze-frames while the credits roll.
Peter: Oh sorry, Lois, I was just thinking about that hilarious episode of Diff’rent Strokes where Arnold and Dudley get sexually molested by the guy in the bike shop. HAHAHAHAHA
