Most areas have a choice of two.
ATT bought up Dish, so now out here there is Att or Spectrum.
Dish is ATT.
No, AT&T owns DirecTV (although there are rumors they’re trying to sell it) while Dish Network is an independent company.
At one point, AT&T was the largest television provider in the US, between DirecTV customers, Uverse customers and so on.
I have Dish. I have AT&T for internet and home phone. They are not the same. As said above, AT&T owns DirecTV. God knows they are bugging me enough to switch to it.
Dish & DirecTV might soon merge, but it is more likely AT&T will sell DirecTV to Dish.
