This was one of my favorite Dirty Jobs episodes. They got the wasted food from the restaurants and hotels and composted it. Some was fed to the guys pigs on his hog farm. There’s a great scene with Mike driving this filthy, disgusting old truck. Some of the rotten food drops on him. :wink: Love Mike’s reactions in these situations.

That gentlemen was pretty old and it looked like a one man operation. I’ve wondered if he’s already retired by now.

The truck that hauled the slop looked to me like an early 1960s Ford.
I could not help but think that sooner or later that old beater was going to need work and some poor bastard was going to have work on the truck covered it dried smelly slop.
I am very glad I am not the mechanic for that farm.
