This is mundane and pointless, but since this is a TV show, I’ll put it here. A rerun of Dirty Jobs was on, and they were showing the episode with the mosquito control lab in New Orleans. Mike and the cute green haired punk girl in the lab were pretty obviously flirting with each other throughout the show. There was a LOT of sexual tension there. I didn’t quite expect that on Discovery channel. But anyway, this all culminated in the girl offering Mike to “look at her back”, and Mike pulling down her shirt, revealing the tattoo on her shoulder. Yowza…

I remember that episode from a while ago. Mike wasn’t really flirting inasmuch as he’s always joking around with the people he meets. But the girl was practically drooling over Mike. She was a cutie, and weird to boot. That’s a good thing to me. So I remember her well.
Mike is a terrible flirt. Especially with little old ladies.
I don’t know, he seems pretty good at it to me. Maybe it’s that voice. Mmmm.

Mike flirts with all the ladies, regardless of age, and he’s very good at it. Occasionally there will be an automaton that doesn’t respond to his flirtations, but he gives it a try anyway and seems amused by their deadpan reaction.
I fondly remember the mosquito girl. She loved the flirtation and didn’t try to hide it. She was very cute, so I couldn’t blame him. I suspect Mike could have seen more than just the mosquito tattoo if he really pursured the matter.
I think my favorite Mike/Dirty Girl interaction was the geoduck cleaner…
Is there more to this clip or am I missing something? I don’t see anything about the tattoo in this clip, nor do I see any obvious flirting.
edit: Oh, or are you saying this is just a clip you found of the particular episode that just focuses on the job, but there are others with the flirting?
Bingo. Dirty Jobs usually devotes much more to a given job than 2 minutes. I’m sure that was just a partial clip of the whole piece. I didn’t see any other clips on Youtube with the flirting, but I didn’t look too hard.
Is that the one where he kissed her on the cheek and she laughed and blushed? If so, I agree; that was adorable.
I remember the mosquito girl and she was cute.
There have been several episodes where Mike goes to do some very disgusting job and lo and behold there’s a hot babe working there! I know it shouldn’t, but it seems sort of wrong to see a beautiful woman shoveling shit or making sausage or something. I remember an episode where Mike went to a maggot farm and there was a very cute young woman working there (daughter of the owner, I think).
Ah yes, the mosquito girl. Damn I never could take my eyes off her. Even in spite of my very loudly and frequently proclaimed hatred of mosquitoes.
And she was definately flirting back with Mike.
