Dirty Sexy Money: ABC Renews It For Another Season!

As per this Hollywood Reporter article, ABC has renewed the show for another season.

It is a new, guilty pleasure of mine and I am happy to hear the news. I know it didn’t start off with great ratings, but apparently, the ratings have picked up.

If you haven’t seen the show, give it a shot. Fun to watch the madness of a super-wealthy family in New York and the back stories.

Just dawned on me today that I am now watching three shows with ex-actors from Six Feet Under…Dexter, Brothers and Sisters, Dirty Sexy Money.

This is great news. I’ve just loved Peter Krause since “Sports Night” many years back. I’ve followed this show from the first episode just because he’s in it. I just hope this show can continue with good story lines after he finds out who killed his father (whenever that may be).

Oh, and I also really like watching Michael C. Hall in “Dexter.”

Great fun, indeed. Donald Sutherland’s performance has been nothing less than awesome.

And Samaire Armstrong is in rehab! The behind-the-scenes stories must be as wild as those on camera!

What’s odd is that in SFU, I never thought that Michael C. Hall & Peter Krause looked at all alike. But in publicity shots of Dexter, I keep mistaking Hall for Krause.

Still, glad to hear they got renewed, I love the show.Everything about it works for me.

I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to. Personally, I find the murder-conspiracy stuff to be the weakest part of the show. It’s great in that it facilitates the level of interaction we have between Krause and Sutherland (and characters like Elder), but I think they can easily do without it.

I haven’t been able to read the OP’s link, but the story on Zap2it was that the show had been picked up for the whole season, not next season (yet, I hope).

The problem is that the whole season is kinda up in the air with the strike.

I love the show. It’s my favorite new show this season.

One of my favorites of the new season. Something really struck me recently, though…if you started a drinking game, and took a drink every time some character on this show pours a drink – you’d never make it through the hour. *Every *scene.

I’ve been enjoying this show as well and I generally hate network dramas. I’m glad to see it’s bringing in the viewers.

I like everything about it except for the Nick and Karen thing, especially since it looks like Nick does have some feelings for her. I’m ready for a functional, faithful marriage on TV. I like Nick’s wife and don’t want to see her hurt.
