Why outrage if the guy had no idea he had a child? I can understand the outrage if he knew and it was a “lie of omission”, but if some guy’s ex concealed a child from him, that’s hardly his fault.
There would probably be a financial hit, which would be difficult. I can’t imagine being angry at him for it, unless the existence of the child proved that he’d been lying to me (rumor said Gwen Stefani was angry because Gavin Rossdale had insisted he and Pearl Lowe were only friends, figuring that one time wasn’t worth mentioning until DNA said otherwise), or perhaps if there was a seedy and unethical element that would force me to reassess what I thought of his character (such as him knowing about and abandoning the child, or if either party had cheated on a spouse/partner at the time of conception, much like Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale).
