They just passed a law that would impose the death penalty on Palestinians convicted of terrorism, but NOT on Jews. The exact same action will be punished differently by the courts depending on the ethnicity of the perpetrator. I shop for produce and other groceries at this one store that has had to hire security for the first time. The Persian manager is always very perceptive of customers. He told me with a grin and a dismissive open palm that some war-related weirdos had been giving him crap since the U S started bombing Iran this year. Luckily it’s a chain store so they have some budget for security. Still it bums me out for sure!
