  1. The Emperor’s New Groove (so happy to see this still in the game. It isn’t my #1 favorite Disney movie, but I do consider it the most underrated movie in their repertoire…and I have a feeling that all the cawing over it still being in the game are from dopers who never actually watched it)

  2. Beauty & The Beast (man oh man that’s a tough decision. I actually just wrote a whole paragraph about why I chose Aladdin, and then erased it when I realized that Beauty does everything Aladdin did, but did it better)

I agree. Most of my friends had never even heard of it, I’ve been systematically making them watch it, and they end up loving it as much as I do.

I saw it. In fact, I think it may be the only David Spade movie I’ve ever made it all the way through. It was not good at all. “Unnatural attraction” is right.

I actually voted for it over Little Mermaid, despite never having seen it, just because I hate Disney’s version of Little Mermaid that much. (Love the original Andersen tale, hate what Disney did to it.)

Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie and I’m glad to see it getting such support. Great music and great characters. Mermaid is ok but groove bugs me.

I’ve learned to just let Disney do their thing and consider the result a completely separate entity. Have you ever read Beauty and the Beast? Yeah… Disney movie not so much is it (though I suppose it’s closer than Mermaid was), yet Beauty and the Beast, when viewed as an independently minded film is (in my opinion) one of their best.
