Disrespectful to the First Lady - Elect?

Picture today of the current president and first lady standing next to the president elect and first lady elect.

My first thoughts were; " Ms. Obama looks nice." Ok, well, actually, I was less polite than that. It was more like… "Whoa, she’s really HAWT! " I then reminded myself that she is the first lady elect, so I should be more respectful. I should be respectful even if she were not the first lady elect…but one’s baser instincts occasionally surface.

How disrespectful is it to the first lady to express thoughts of a, um,er carnal nature? Is it then also disrespectful to the president[-elect]?

I didn’t really want to link to the site were I saw the pic, since the site itself is mostly political in nature and this wasn’t meant as a simple political question.

It is the pic that others have already linked to.

It emphasizes her curves and her apparently long legs. I’ve always thought she was pretty…but this pic just puts …thoughts… into my head. :o

I’m not really seeing it. She’s perfectly presentable, but if that neckline were any higher she’d look like Mort from “Bazooka Joe.”

I suspect some influence from the “park your car next to a shittier-looking car” phenomenon.

Michelle Obama is 5’11"–if she is wearing heels, she may be taller than President Bush ( I don’t know his height).

Wait a minute–if I can use Google to estimate her height, why can’t I do the same with his? He’s also 5’11-- so I bet she is wearing heels. Not sky-high ones, but not flats, either.

I had no idea she was so tall.

I kinda doubt it, at least in the Obamas’ case and mine.

He was in law school when he met her (IIRC), and I didn’t have two nickels to rub together when I first laid eyes on the Lovely and Talented Mrs. Shodan.

Unless you are thinking that the second line of the limerick is not “who kept all his cash in a bucket”. In which case, it don’t fit me either. And if it fits Barack, I don’t wanna know.

That link confirms what a lot of people already believe; Al Gore must have won, because he was taller. I posted that somewhere on the internet, that Americans vote for the tallest, and I WAS RIGHT ONCE AGAIN! HA HA!

Barrie isn’t so bad himself, either (I call him Barrie; you might know him as Barack). They really are a good-looking couple, especially next to Old and Used Up.

I love the pictures on that site–and I’m glad that Obama won, because the image they use for McCain looks so puny and un-presidential. Not that height should matter, exactly, just . . .
