When I create a DM to someone, post it, then try to edit it, I often get the error message in my title when I try to save the edit.
Despite me not putting any tags on my DM.
What’s up with that and what’s a workaround?

It’s an OP like any other. Just with visibility limited to you and the other addressee(s). It ought to be fully editable within the usual time limit. They sure used to be fully editable.
And sometimes still are. I haven’t sussed out what triggers the difference between an editable and non-editable OP.
Interestingly, I just discovered the “can’t edit” bug does not apply to second and subsequent posts in a DM thread with a non-editable OP.
