KTHX is OK for News/Talk.
It’s my second favorite station next to KBOB, home of Soft Over-Easy Oldies. And you can win $57 if you’re lucky enough to be car-jacked by the KTHX Prize Van.

And me without my umbrella - it’s just dripping sarcasm in here.
Hey Giraffe, lots less ‘fluffy-kitty’ type threads now, eh? Welcome back from vacation.
It’s fairly common around here for people to say “kay” instead of “OK”. It’s too much effort to pronounce both syllables, I guess.
I find it utterly amazing that “troll” has become such an inflammatory word. At least relatively speaking. I can call someone a misanthropic, knuckle-dragging cocksucker…yet to imply that another person is a troll is strictly taboo.
It’s magnificent how arbitrary our language really is.
Here, you can borrow mine. But, with all the hot air blowing around in here, you’ll probably get soaked, anyhow.
I hope you’re wearing a parachute, that’s quite a leap you made there.
What if I said a certain person was a trollop? How close to the line is that? One toke over?
What is your malfuction? Obviously there are people who need to be reminded, otherwise there wouldn’t be so many posts feeding the guy, now would there?
Everyone just pretend you didn’t see me just post to his Doctor thread. . . .
Woops.
They’ve been drilling DNFTT into our heads for years. It’s in the FAQ, it’s everywhere. If there are people out there who haven’t gotten it by now, well, they’re never going to, wouldn’t you agree? This thread ain’t gonna make a shit bit of difference–which was really my point, underneath all the sarcasm.
That was inevitable and stupid.
Ya know, you are actually right. Earlier today I voiced my annoyance over the “because this is the PIT . . . . fuck piss shit” thing. Somethings may never change, but I personally feel that it doesn’t hurt to sometimes remind people to knock the fuck off. Not that it works all the time, but hopefully it may sink through a few skulls some day.
Ba-da-dum.
*golf clap *
Quite an interesting leap. Where did someone insinuate you were the same person, VCO3? I missed that.
…but hopefully it may sink through a few skulls some day.
Well, sure. But for some people, we’ll need the biiiiiiiiiig hammer.

Looks like I am first in line tonight. :o
KTHX…The King of THX? I didn’t know George Lucas posted here.
I’m going to go ahead and guess that he’s inferring that myself and Andrew85 are the same, or that one of us is a sock of the other or whatever. Go ahead, say it - and get banned for doing so.
[nitpick]
he is implying --you can infer anything you like from someone’s actions-but they cannot infer something on to you. They imply, you infer.

It’s not the word itself, it’s the history of its use on this board. There was a period where some people had become professional troll hunters and got way too trigger-happy. There were a few innocent newbies that were driven away by accusations of trolldom after one or two less than stellar introductory posts.
Not defending, just explaining.
The more you know…
