Do bald men get dandruff?

I hate to say - just see title, but I think this question is pretty clear: Do bald men get dandruff?

Sure. You don’t need hair to get dandruff.
It’s the scalp that’s flaking, not the hair.

I have got to stop paying attention to work and more to the dope so I don’t miss the edit window sigh.

The prevelence is less, however. Your scalp creates the oils that normally make your hair greasy. So, with the abscence of hair, the oils stay on your scalp, hence less chance of flakiness.

I’ve shaved my head for the past, oh, 12 years, and the only instances where I come close to having dandruff is when I wash my scalp. Since i don’t have hair, I just use bar soap, which dries the scalp. I might occasinally get a little “dust” (that’s whaty I call it, it looks the same as when you rub your arm and skin folicles slough off) but it’s rare.
