Do homosexuals have better self image because they are their preferred sex?

[QUOTE=ralph124c]
I’ve noticed quite a few womwn who seem perfectly happy, marrying a gay man. first. they are usuall disinterested in sex. second, they usually like the arts, and appreciate their man being well dressed and groomed. Finally, such women usually like men who cook, and are good at interior decorating-so they appreciate ahving a gay husband.
Anyone notice the same?

What does that even have to do with the OP?

Did you perhaps mean this to be the start of a new thread? If so, did you mean to post it in The BBQ Pit, where people might give a proper response to your stereotyping?

Gay guy reportin’. And I’d say no. In today’s society as a whole, body-image issues are pretty much all over the spectrum, not just dependent on one’s sexuality.
Take me for example. I’m a big guy, (and no, I’m not really comfy giving out my weight), and I think I look awful, how would anyone ever want to be with me.
But, at the same time, my S.O. tells me to shut up and he loves me no matter what. Whenever I start bashing myself, he gets upset.

Sure I’ve tried losing weight, but it’s a very uphill battle, especially when it runs in my family to be overweight. It’s in our genes, and fighting that DNA makes it that much more harder.
