Mangeorge, what did you say? We are all the same or we are all different?
I wonder: do all women like to be touched/caressed on the breasts/nipples? The nipple erection is reflectory, can be caused by cold. The erection apart, are all females sensitive? Or should there be a separate thread?
It’s awesome how lesbians are patient & answer this question.
I have a lesbian friend who was on a lesbian panel. She said people always asked ‘Is it true lesbians ejaculate’ & she would always chuckle when she told that story.
I live in a neighborhood with a large lesbian population. Why lesbians decided to congregate here, I don’t know, but you do see quite a few of 'em. (Personally, I like it, because it contributes to the neighborhood’s diversity and unique feel.) One thing I’ve noticed is that most lesbians I know are quite stocky. You don’t see many thin or curvy lesbians, but it appears that the lumberjack look is big. Along similar lines to the “do lesbians like breasts?” question, I’m wondering if lesbians have a preference for stocky builds, and if so, why?
Well… lots of people fill out as they age. I wouldn’t say that the “lumberjack look” is rampant in the lesbian community. (well, depends on the segment that you’re talking about. ;))
To each their own. I can’t say that there’s a standard body type for lesbians. Although, IIRC, there is a slighly higher incidence of obesity among middle aged lesbians than heterosexual women. I’ve noticed that most of the gay females I’ve known have been… I wouldn’t say less caring about their physical appearance… more like adhering less to the waifish look that seems to be popular at the moment. Although it’s impossible to generalize by body type.
I can personally attest to the fact that the “lumberjack look” is a minority body type among college-aged lesbians. You may be mistaking a normal middle-aged body type for something unique to the lesbian community. It’s not. It may be that the style of dress these women are choosing makes their body type more noticeable, or that your own preconceptions are affecting your judgement.
I think, elmwood, that what you may be seeing are the older, more settled lesbian population. Straight couples in settled relationships also tend to be a little stockier (lumberjackier) than the young single crowd.
More than once I’ve gotten “The Glare” from one member of a lesbian couple for admiring her slim, curvy partner.
I once spent an unforgettable, if experimental, night with a very slim and curvy lesbian woman in NYC. She liked and trusted me as a friend and wanted to know what sex with a man would be like. She said it was “ok”, but that she wasn’t “cured”.
Oh well.
BTW, peace, It depends on what aspect of us we’re talking about. That was my somewhat muddled point.
Peace,
mangeorge
I girl I know has a mother, pushing 60, who happens to be a members of the tribe. Up until about a year ago, she was dating a former Playboy Bunny half her age. Us guys would hang around the house to drool. Of course, Mom is also worth close to $3 million; I guess lesbians can be just as gold digging as anybody else…
Mangeorge, it’s nothing more than personal experience.
Most women I dealt with, liked my caressing their breasts. A few could be brougt to orgasm by this alone. But one (size C) said that her breasts are as sensitive as her arms or shoulders. Although her nipples got erected. A few others answered: “Yeah, I like it”, but I was not convinced. Clearly, the sensitivity varies.
Yes, but it’s not just limited to lesbians. Some women who see themselves as the beautiful, sexual, vibrant being they are do feel an attraction to themselves. And really do love pleasuring themselves, fingers working their body like a fine musical instrument, until the movement comes crashing to a climax. Of course, I’m just talking music terms here.
Women who do love themselves feel confident, self assured, they take the best care of themselves in every way.
The definition of narcissism that I have reads thus:
Well, the first definition for this might apply, but I don’t agree with “excessive”, because that is a relative term. And I don’t think that conceit is a synonym. Thus, I will throw out the first definition.
And the second contains the “…fixation on or a regression to an infantile stage…” which I don’t see also. I’m no psychologist, just a very confused engineer of alternate sexuality. But it seems that this definition does not apply, and that so long as conceit and one’s self worth relative to others are kept under control, then it is not a bad thing.
That is - it’s OK to feel you are a wonderful, sexy, important being, but you should not feel that that makes you superior to others, or gives you special rights and priveledges outside of your own mind. I hope I said that correctly.
You may be mistaking a normal middle-aged body type for something unique to the lesbian community. It’s not.

Everyone likes breasts. What kinda beast wouldn’t like breasts? Even as someone who’s posted a preference for the word callipygous: If you’re a lesbian, you like women. Women have breasts. Duh.
The lack of appreciation for the female form is a form of madness.
I also like the clavicle, the shoulder blade, the little fuzzy spot at the base of the spine, the instep, the back of the knee, the chin, the cheekbone, the fiery eyes. What’s there not to like?
We all get old and stocky, lesbians included. Personally, I’ve put on 5 lbs for the holidays. More cush, more push, I say.
OK, I gotta go with Dr. Pinky on this… I have to confess that I am also attracted to callipygeous ([boast]I actually knew this word! Just never thought I’d be able to use it… which may explain this post…[/boast]) women…
I am a hetero male and the sight of my own naked body turns me on… but that’s just because I’m so hott!!
Since we are all commenting about boobs anyway: I am more attracted to nice leg/butt/belly areas. Big or small boobs doesn’t really matter to me.
There are a lot of weirdos out there. Evolutionary, one sex is attracted to another sex. That’s why the species survive. A proportion of error is allowed by nature. As long as the percentage is below 50%, the species will, apparently, prosper. So, in short, if any individual is attracted not to the opposite sex, it’s OK. Only his (hers) genes will not propagate. The species will survive.
