I get the impression (at least from the fragrance ads with the ‘lift to experience (insert fragrance name here)’ features in Men’s Magazines like Maxim) that the majority of women’s fragrances are fruit based, while the majority of men’s fragrances basically smell like soap or at least a freshly showered smell. Of course, there are the ‘musk’ variations, but it seems to me that the majority of fragrances for men are designed to make the guy smell like he’s freshly showered…is this an accurate observation, or is my perception skewed?
after checking all my cologne’s, i’d agree they are more…spicey, than fruity. But i doubt its because we smell bad. I just dont think most guys want to walk around smelling like strawberries.
