Well, not my homework exactly, but I’ve got a little survey I’m trying to get a few answers for. If you’ve got a spare moment I’d really appreciate it if you could hop over to my livejournal (since everything already there and laid out nicer than it would be on these boards) and fill it out. You can answer here or in my journal. Don’t think too much about the answers, it’s just a quick questionnaire. Thanks for your help! :smiley:

  4. I cannot see these logos.
  5. How can a logo look “trustworthy” "warm"or “impersonal”? They all have the same “attractiveness” quotient. The most professional looking one is un-numbered; it is an elongated star in cyan between #2 and #3.
  6. See #5. Also, the pea-green color of #6 is off-putting. Ick.
    Bonus: No.
    Checkered logo: Looks like Purina Feeds.

If you mean the third one, it looks more like a biohazard symbol. Not the best logo for a pharmaceutical company, now that I think about it.

  1. Yes, it looks like a red checkered flag. Or perhaps a Pizza Hut tablecloth. It does look like the HSBC logo a bit. Or reminiscent of the Mitsubishi logo.

  5. Not quite sure what you’re looking for here. If you want to know my favorite, I think it’d be #2 – it at least makes me think a bit, wondering what the dots represent. #8 looks like Abbott is working on his nunchuck skills.

And I think Ralston Purina uses/used a similar red checkerboard logo…

  5. 9a is still Impersonal. I like #2 and 9b, though 9b should be blue, not red.
  6. I think the guy on the website is unnaturally buff and it makes me distrust the sales pitch.
  7. No, it looks like a searchlight, as on a windmill.

Thanks for the responses, guys. Oh, and that picture some of you can’t see? I saved it as cmyk. :smack: Apparently not every browser can load cmyk jpegs (actually, I’m surprised any of them can). It should work now.
