Oh yeah, I have this one too!
But that’s got git-all to do with his nationality - Paul Newman is as American as the Boss and I don’t stare dreamily at the telly when Newman’s on (at any age).
As a non-American man, I don’t fantasize about American women, but I may sometimes fantasize about specific women who happen to be American. I can’t see any reason that women should feel differently.
I mean, people are sexy. Nationalities are not sexy.
I’ve noticed the whole “rich American man” thing in most less well off countries. Granted, this was online, but still there was this idea that, since I was American, I must be rich.
I also was told by a Polish classmate that all of her friends fantasized about American men–but, then again, she married one–she might be biased.
American man in Japan here. I used to have a huge Japanese fetish (as in like thinking all Japanese girls were hot, even the ones that really aren’t at all), but I think I’m pretty normal now. Of course, thus says the man with a Japanese girlfriend ^^;
I’ve been told my GF likes foreigners (wink wink nudge nudge…grrr…) so I’ve been kinda loath to bring up this topic for general discussion, but I know from talking to other Japanese girls that American men are liked for their genki-ness (happy energy), straightforward openness (Japanese men in the past have not been known for their communication skills), emotional openness (ditto), and then theres just the whole exotic foreigner thing.
Both of you having the same fantasy? Thats gotta be awkward for poor Bruce. Imagine the wardrobe changes? Sounds almost like a Blackadder skit.
Well, you’re right in that one can find a hot, latina American, and a hot, latina Mexican, but it’s really hard to find an American woman with a sexy Irish accent. I’ve gotta go with “nationality” on this one.
I am an American male, my wife is Indonesian. We met in the USA. She has told me that she never saw herself married to an Indonesian man because of “the way they control their wife.” That and she is attracted to Caucasion men, guys like Adrien Brody, Keanu Reeves, John Cusack yet she married me, the blond/ blue guy. Hmm.
For my wife and a few of her friends who live in the USA and in Indonesia, it is mostly a cultural thing.
He doesn’t need a wardrobe change.
