But, heaven and hell are states of mind, not places. They are also (or can be) states of being inflicted on us by others. Mostly my life has been heaven, with a few visits to hell and purgatory in between.
I don’t believe in supreme deities, or the variants of heaven/hell. I do believe that Man’s mind is an amazing thing, and that imagination is probably our greatest asset and our greatest liability.
