I’m in my mid 30s and feel like I look much better than I did in my teens or twenties. I think sometimes, that your face changes shape as you age and mine just seems to finally “fit” for lack of a better word! Also, maybe because as we get older we take more time to take care of our skin, hair, etc. whereas when your younger you just take that type of thing for granted. What do you all think?

Yes
No question of it.
Women and men alike – I was one geeky kid, guant and pale and spotty and goofy, now I’m pretty hot if I say so myself (oh I just did).
What I REALLY like is that there seems to be a general rule (maybe the “regression” principle) that those with early good looks fade – it gives me such a buzz to bump into some balding be-bellied old coot that once only had to be present to have the girls drooling, and I just know that he has to see that I’m the purdy one now.
Revenge is sweet. I loves it!

the answer is “Yes, some do.”
your welcome!
She was somebody’s mother, but not mine, so it was okay!
Well, my wife keeps looking better and better to me as she gets older.
Many people become more attractive as they age. It’s because they have more experience and become more interesting people.
My wife has become more attractive. Sometimes I wonder what she sees in me.
Yes: they accumulate more wealth.
Women don’t even START looking good until they hit their 30s.
Bryan Ekers is wise. He neglects to mention they acquire power as well.
Marcie becomes more beautiful and more desireable every day.
Yes, sometimes, because as the fruit ripens so does its sweetness.
Many females look greatest in their teens and early twenties, then quickly proceed to become fat, dress poorly, and style their hair poorly (or worse yet, retain the same hairstyle they had twenty years ago).
However, those people above were only beautiful as teens purely because they won Mother Nature’s lottery, not because they posess some beaty secret. Then, they simply fail to maintain their good looks as time goes on.
On the other hand, many women were plain-looking as teens, simply because they couldn’t afford (or weren’t allowed to) wear make up and sexy clothes. Later, when they are successful and their personality develops, they find their own style.
Now, all of that above is only a discussion of physical beauty, leaving personality aside.
As ShibbOleth and Bryan Ekers point out, physical good looks is only one of the attributes that makes a woman desirable to the opposite sex. Intelligence, educated-ness (can’t think of the correct way to say that right now, a strong personality, and SMILES, among other things, can have a drastic effect.
While I’m not so sure I could become attracted to a morbidly ugly woman, I do know plenty of women who qualify as a 9, but I would never start a relationship, and plenty of other 6- or 7-rated women who I drool over.
For example, has anyone heard all those audio clips that Howard Stern plays of Halle Berry? She appears to be a complete idiot; I doubt I could tolerate her presence regardless of her looks. On the other hand, Howard interviewed singer Pink a little while back, and she seemed pretty nice, and kinda cute too. I would BY FAR prefer her to Halle Berry.
As a side note, did anyone hear Stern’s interview yesterday with Jolene Blalock? She’s way hot, and to boot, sounds like the coolest person you’d ever want to meet.
By the way, I’m not celebrity-obsessed, just using those as examples we can all relate to.
To sum up: The fat, frumpy 40-year old pushing her shopping carriage around at Wal-Mart isn’t any more attractive than the fat, frumpy 30-year old behind her.
On the other hand, Mary Richards on the Mary Tyler Moore Show is far hotter than Laura Petrie from the Dick Van Dyke Show. Laura was younger and thus physically a little more attractive; Mary was older, but more independent, smarter, funnier, and with a stronger personality.
Agreed.
And I’d also like to add that those curvacious girls with big tits back in high school, often become fat slobs in their thirties. Those rail thin teenage girls who couldn’t get a date in high school start to fill out in their thirties.
I agree with Chris. Different people peak at different times; some women are at their most beautiful at 18, some at 38. Depends on the individual, on their body and face type, and their particular genes.
I’m a heck of a lot better looking now than I was at 18 or 21. I’m also more interesting. I’m sure had I met Dave at 18 he would have never made the first visit to Canada and we’d both still be looking.
Well, I for one get a lot more dates now than I did when I was five.
I was a late bloomer; didn’t get even slightly curvy until I was 18, didn’t learn to dress myself to best advantage until I was in my thirties. I am definitely more interesting and alluring now that I am headed for my forties…with any luck I’ll be the kind of 70 year old woman that twenty-something young men gaze longingly after…it could happen!
Oh yeah, and I was a dumpy, ugly kid and teased through most of my school career.
Too bad for them.
