We have a sound bar with a remotely connected subwoofer and two rear speakers. Last night the bar just up and died. We swapped the cord and confirmed the cord was ok, but the power light does not turn on. I think the circuit board just fried out.
My wife located on Facebook market a soundbar for sale (bluetooth enabled) that is the same Vizio brand but a different model. As long as it’s bluetooth, will it likely sync to our subwoofer and aux speakers?
It’s not guaranteed to, as while it may communicate over bluetooth, the “signal” it sends likely will not be universal between brands (but maybe between models). Calling Vizio may clarify that.
I have a Rocketfish “universal” rear speaker/subwoofer kit. It’s “universal” because you plug the speaker wires into their transmitter, which is unique to their receiver, which is connected to the rears and sub.
