I’ve never seen so much crap persist so long. Not sure if that’s a compliment to the usual diligence or a plea for at least one mod to wake up this morning…
It’s Sunday and all the mods are in U.S. time zones. Even Panama shares a time zone with the U.S.

We do sleep sometimes. The stuff was obvious spam no matter what language you speak, and engineer_comp_geek took care of it a little while after this thread was opened. I hope people/bots aren’t going to try to hit us with this much spam every morning. We’ll have to see how much of it we can block.

I respect the job and the limits, but the junk continued to be posted over a three-hour span, well into East Coast waking hours. I was starting to get concerned…

This was unusual and I hope it’s a one-time thing, but it was also just happenstance that nobody was online earlier. On another day someone might have caught it sooner. Even so, I think the last spam was posted at 9 a.m. and the posts must have been removed a little after that.
If you’re willing to get a Kickstarter going, I’m willing to make the sacrifice. I’ll accept a station in Bali, Hawaii or Aruba.
We do not have specific hours or shifts, so there can be times where there are no mods about. And there can be times when there are lots of mods about. Things get handled as soon as we can.
